Conveyor Belts have many uses in today's manufacturing, industrial and other industries. Bulk material handling, product distribution, and other material trasportaion needs. A conveyor belt or belt conveyor consists of two or more pulleys, with a continuous loop of material that rotates about them. The pulleys are powered, moving the belt and the material on the belt. Conveyor belts are extensively used to transport industrial and agricultural materials, such as grain, coal, ores, etc.

Some conveyor belts have sidewalls to help hold the material on the belt. Still others have pockets for vertical or incline conveying.

Conveyor Pulleys

Elevator Pulley - With continuously welded disc-to-rim construction on both sides and compression type hubs.

Double Drum Pulley - Engineered to meet demanding loading conditions and has established an impressive performance rating from many satisfied customers.

Snap Back Pulley - High tensile strength rubber or urethane lagging, encased in a steel jacket, displaces upon belt contact. When belt contact is broken, the rubber actually "snaps back" to its original height automatically cleaning itself.

Spiral Drum Pulley - This unique design reduces the possibility of material build-up between the belt and the pulley in applications where self-cleaning wing type pulleys cannot be used.

Spiral Wing Pulley - Rotation of the pulley automatically starts the self-cleaning action, discharging foreign material to the side of the conveyor.

Other Conveyor Belt Components

Scraper systems - To clean material off the head pulley, sometime arranged as a dual system.

Skirting systems - Contains dust at the conveyor load point.

Deflection Wheels - Designed for high angle or incline pocket belt systems such as Flexowell.

Stub Idlers - Designed to support the incline pocket belts on the return side.

Guide Wheels - Help with conveyor belt tracking.

Miscellaneous Components - Various chute linings, loose corrugated sidewalls, cleats, weigh feeder belts, V-plow blades, primary scraper blades and mechanical belt fasteners.
